June was another fast-paced month for DIGITALAX — even moreso than usual. Beyond hosting and coproducing two cc0 events during NFT.NYC, we continued on from our updated whitepaper release in May to further modular implementation and build out of core components of V3. Issue 14 of DIGIFIZZY provided a look at a more instructable approach to proliferation of web3 culture, with a limited collection of posters and associated apparel for seizing the memes of production & media distro, microfactoring like a mfer, open content monetisation and remote interfaces + IRL facilities for local production.
From a technical/engineering side, this included adding extra feature support for patrons and designer realms in the form of instant PFP/callsign collection minting capabilities (to be released shortly), internal planning and development of the web3 expansion maps API for Layer X and a connected social time and place booking system integrated with Lens protocol (a component that started at the ETHNYC hackathon!).
Since the beginning of this year we’ve been working with a number of locations around Manhattan and Brooklyn to transform them into microfactories for IRL + virtual print, apparel, and “renewable” production....
